Days and hours of operation
Our Community Supports Program is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We offer a wide variety of activities for you to enjoy—whether you’re building new skills or simply having fun with your peers. Every activity is designed to support you in working towards achieving your individual goals.
What you need to bring:
Some important items you may need to bring to Community Supports might include:
- Hat and sunscreen
- Morning Tea, Lunch and water bottle
- Cash for your activity
- Medication/incontinence products (if required)
- Communication diary (if required)
- Change of clothes (if required)
- Companion card, taxi vouchers etc.
Costs
Your CHSS Service Agreement will include the cost of support and any billable extras (such as travel) related to your Community Support activities. These costs will be funded through your NDIS Plan.
When participating in some of our group activities, there may be additional costs that you will need to pay out of pocket. Examples include bingo entry fees, lunch, bowling, karaoke, or our cooking groups. You will receive a receipt for these expenses. Many of these costs are subsidised to make it easier for you to join in and enjoy all the fun!
Where it happens
Community Support activities take place either in the local community or at our purpose-built premises on Scarba Street.
