Important Notice: Updates to the NDIS Price Guide Effective July 1, 2024
There have been recent updates to the NDIS Price Guide, which took effect on July 1, 2024. As a provider of direct support services, we want to ensure you are aware of the changes that may impact the costs associated with these services.
Key Changes:
- Disability Support Worker (DSW) Costs: The price caps for many core supports, including those provided by disability support workers, have increased.
- Removal of Temporary Transformation Payment (TTP): TTP line items have been removed from the price guide. This additional funding, provided to assist providers during the transition to the NDIS, is no longer available.
- Plan Indexation: All plans will be indexed to reflect the new price caps. This process may take a few weeks to be fully implemented, ensuring that the funding in participants’ plans aligns with the updated pricing.
- Short Notice Cancellations: The policy for short notice cancellations has been revised. For services not under the Disability Support Worker (DSW) Cost Model, cancellations can only be charged if they occur within 2 clear business days. For services under the DSW Cost Model, the notice period remains at 7 days.
- Additional Changes: Updates have also been made to Psychosocial Recovery Coaching (PRC) and Support Connection pricing, among others. For a detailed overview of these changes, please refer to the NDIS website.
